Aveda Paris Parker Salon

NEW ORLEANS
2018

Role: Lead Welder

Fabrication at: GoodWood Nola

Collaboration with Thomas Edick

The Aveda Paris Parker Salon on Carondelet Street in New Orleans commissioned GoodWoodNola to fabricate 8 floating steel salon stations. Consisting of 100s of individually plasma cut steel pieces, the salon stations were assembled by welding exclusively inside the steel frames so that exteriors looked clean and seamless. After the frames were completed, and all mirror and lighting accessories were test fitted, each station was sanded, cleaned, had black patina applied, and clear coated for the final finish.
